As Young Thug was gearing up to release his second studio album, 'PUNK' he looked to have his fans involved with the new chapter of his career in a major way. On Tuesday (August 24), software company Adobe announced a special partnership with Young Thug that allows fans to create a custom jacket for him to wear throughout the PUNK era. The partnership is a part of a larger collaboration Adobe has with Live Nation called the Adobe Creativity Tour, which offers people a chance to express their creativity and the opportunity to contribute to projects involving several artists. “I’m so excited to be partnering with Adobe on this project,” Young Thug said. “Creativity is in my blood and my fans are my soul. I can’t wait to see how they all express themselves creatively within my world. Getting to see them involved inspires me to go even further. Creativity is PUNK.” “Creativity comes in many forms, but combine music, design, and fashion in the form of visionary artist Young Thug, and you’ve got magic,” Ann Lewnes — CMO and Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Development at Adobe — tells Complex. “Adobe’s thrilled to be partnering with creator extraordinaire Young Thug on a number of exciting creative projects around the launch of Punk.” The top winners will receive $3,000 cash prizes, a 12-month Adobe All-Apps Creative Cloud subscription and the opportunity to have their design artwork turned into an actual jacket for Thug to wear. This is one of the three top winners.
