RMIT University, Industrial Design (Year 3) This project demonstrates the integration of Grasshopper, a parametric design tool, into my CAD modeling workflow to push the boundaries of conventional design processes. Grasshopper’s node-based scripting environment enables the creation of intricate forms and dynamic patterns, offering advanced capabilities for industrial designers seeking greater flexibility and control over complex geometries. Through this assignment, I explored Grasshopper’s interface and core elements, assessing its potential to expand my digital toolkit and streamline design development. Building on models from previous assignments, I conducted experimental workflows in Grasshopper, using it to enhance CAD forms with parametric adjustments and create visually compelling, high-quality outcomes. The project showcases my ability to adopt new technologies and elevate traditional design methods through innovative digital applications. Through this assignment, I effectively leveraged Grasshopper to enrich my CAD capabilities, achieving a level of precision and complexity that speaks to my commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth in digital modeling.
